Kirsten graduated from the International Center of Photography (ICP) in 2015 where she received the George and Joyce Moss Scholarship for her series about a seniors’ synchronized swimming team in Harlem.
Kirsten’s work focuses on unseen intersections that dominate our daily lives. She is interested in aging, resiliency and the female form.
When not in New York, Kirsten lives in comfortable isolation with her husband and two dogs in Yellowknife, Canada. She is a former CBC journalist and radio host.
