Last night Fire #85 near Behchoko kicked up a notch and (re) blanketed Yellowknife in smoke. Lots of lightening strikes in the afternoon. Friends and I headed to Pilot's Monument at 10:30 pm for a bird's eye view. Shooting with a monopod instead of a tripod. Not the best choice given the wind and longish exposure time. Camera shake. Smoke lessened by 11:30 pm.
