Above Ground

I normally ride the subway to school: it takes 30 minutes to go door-to-door. Because it was such a warm, fall

day, and I had late classes, I hopped on a bus. What a treat to see the sun, and sidewalk shoppers and people

jogging through Central Park. However, the bus is a much longer commute. Closer to 90 minutes because

of the red lights and traffic. It was an excellent opportunity to finish the first chapter in Susan Sontag's On

Photography.
