Guggenheim time

November 16, 2014

A small group from school went to the sold out "Creamcheese" Performance at the Guggenheim.

The rave-techno music and gelanteous, liquid light show projected on the walls was an homage to a radical group of

post World War 2 artists.

As per the museum's website ..."Creamcheese (1967–76), [was] a psychedelic discotheque and artists’ meeting

place in Düsseldorf. Conceived by ZERO artist Günther Uecker and decorated by other network artists, including

Adolf Luther, Heinz Mack, Gerhard Richter, and Daniel Spoerri, it became known for its progressive music as well as

its synthesis of art, film, music, and performance."
