Scars
Scars are souvenirs of injury, surgery, and even joy. This series documents NWT residents who agreed to show what is usually hidden. It tells the story of a near‑fatal winter road crash, a medi‑vaced preemie, breast cancer reconstruction and a life‑threatening Grizzly Bear mauling. The events were brutal at the time but there is a tenderness to the aftermath.
