Everyone loves a parade ...

I came, I photographed, I left.

Glad to say I saw Macy's famous Thanksgiving Day Parade.

The inflatable characters are even more impressive up close than on TV.

Oh, but the crowds!

Next time (if there is a next time) I'll either take a ladder or arrive at 7 am to secure a front row seat.

Taylor Swift fans will be disappointed to know I left before she sailed by on a float. I hear the crowds went wild.

Give me a packed subway train over that kind of pushing and congestion any day.
