Summer is an ongoing digital photo project about the Canadian North. I am interested in daily observations rather than dramatic events. I photograph people, places, and seasonal routines: lake swimming, weeding, car washing and the subtle shifts in mood that accompany long daylight. The project highlights the absurdities and contradictions of northern life, allowing viewers to read both levity and unease in the same frame.
