I See

August 20, 2017 | By: Kirsten Murphy Photography

Quite the buzz about tomorrow's total solar eclipse. 'Total' meaning the moon will pass in front of the sun the first time since 1918. We won't see much from Yellowknife because of our location. The 2.5 minute eclipse will cross the US from coast-to-coast. GreatAmericanEclipse.com has identified the top 10 cities to view the event. From west to east; Madras, Oregon, Snake River Valley, Idaho, Casper, Wyoming, Sandhills of western Nebraska, St. Joseph, Missouri, Carbondale, Illinois, Hopkinisville, Kentucky, Nashville, Tennessee, Great Smoky Mountain National Park and Columbia, South Carolina. Lots of DIY suggestions for making contraptions to view the eclipse. This is one of my favourites.
