Public Pools

I love, love the intent of Greg Seggal's Aug. 10 photo essay about public swimming pools in the Washington Post https://www.washingtonpost.com/news/in-sight/wp/2017/08/10/water-world/?tid=ss_gp&utm_term=.a343f1f6a2af

The older swimmer flanked by the younger swimmers made me smile. However, many of the images feel like a good idea more than a good photo. The inconsistency of the colour palette is off-putting. The HDR makes my teeth hurt (HD has that effect on me). Still, I like the overall mood and the photographer's ability to tap into one of my favourite childhood memories.
