My childhood friend Charlotte Alice Jackson of Vancouver, BC, introduced me to the word quotidian.
It refers to an everyday occurance; the mundane.
The word came up while I was struggling to describe my work for an assignment.
Charlotte said, "In search of the quotidian."
I said, "Bingo!"
Quotidien is the French spelling of the word.
