The elephant in the room

I am taking weekend workshop called "Intimacy and Distance" with Allen Frame.

Allen is a noted visual artist and curator with a knack for cognitve therapy.

Not only does Allen dive into our images, but into our mind too.

Questsions such as "How is your relationship with your father?" and "Do you think the images of your girlfriend are

stirring latent lesbian tendancies in your mother?" are on the table.

There is also the element of performance.

The student pictured above, Gavin from GB, mentioned a past dalliance in theatre. He described himself as

outwardly friendly but inwardly insecure - a brave and honest admission.

Allen had him stand in front of the class and tell a memorable story about elephants - which he did with vim and

vigour.
